(1) The order of business shall be as follows: <br />(a) Call to order/roll call of members; <br />(b) Pledge of allegiance and invocation; <br />(c) Approval of minutes; <br />(d) Order of business (additions/deletions); <br />(e) Spee+af preseetat-iee6; <br />(fe) Zoning matters, unless heard by special meeting or as otherwise decided by the <br />Commission; <br />(gf) Ordinances submitted for first readingi Fnay be haR dle d as ^ nsem ^.,, Rda at the <br />pleas ern of i-he <br />(#g) Public hearings, which are not ordinances and/or which shall be held at a specially <br />scheduled time, if the notice so states; <br />(+h) Ordinances submitted for second reading; <br />(j}i) Resolutions; <br />(ikj) Motions; <br />(1) Diseessien items; <br />(eek) Citizens' forum: petitions and other communications; <br />(el) Adjournment. <br />The aforementioned order of business shall not apply to special meetings or workshops. The <br />order of business of such meetings shall be determined by the City Clerk. <br />(2) Items shall be considered in the order in which they are placed on the agenda unless a <br />majority of the Commissioners determines to deviate fere from the printed agenda. <br />B. Authority to place items on agenda. Matters may be placed on the agenda by any City <br />Commissioner, the City Manager, the City Attorney or the City Clerk. Matters placed on the <br />agenda by anV City Commissioner shall be placed in accordance with guidelines set forth by <br />Resolution No. 2023-3565, and as maV be amended from time to time. <br />§ 74-15. Ordinances; resolutions; motions; contracts. <br />A. Preparation and enactment of ordinances. The City Attorney and the City Clerk,- when <br />Fequ^cstec, shall prepare ordinances and resolutions.
