M0Mr
0
July 23, 2024 The Experience You Need... The Honesty You Expect.
RFP for Pedestrian Bridge @ North Bay Road Repairs
Technical Proposal
MBR Construction, Inc. proposes to provide a complete Design/Build project. Our proposal is
based on the Project Request Form scope of work and our site meeting and discussions with City
Staff. The work to be performed will be limited to the north and south bridge approach ramps.
No work will be performed on the span section of the bridge.
Our approach draws largely from our experience with Municipal Civil Improvement work and
previous projects completed with this project's primary subcontractor.
MBR will mobilize labor, equipment and supervision to perform the following scope of work:
1. Set up pedestrian and vehicular MOT to allow for Y2 of the bridge to remain open to
pedestrian traffic during the day in full ADA compliance.
2. Set up a safe, fenced off staging area.
3. Demolish and remove all artificial turf infill areas and haul away debris for legal disposal.
4. Remove existing surface materials from the field areas of the N & S approach ramps.
5. Scarify, pressure clean and prepare infill areas to receive new infill materials.
6. Hand mix, place and finish new Cementous material in the prepared infill voids, ensuring
proper bonding and curing conditions of the new materials, and matching surrounding
grades.
7. Apply a completely new surface to both N & S approach ramps, matching the original color
and texture for the field areas and adding an accent color at the newly infilled areas. (this
phase will be night work and may require complete bridge closing except for emergency
access)
8. Prepare and paint the bridge perimeter walls from the deck to the outside edge of the wall
tops, including the planters
9. Remove and replace 13 lighted bollards and remove and refinish 1 fixed bollard.
(Removable LED lighted bollard fixture only. Remove & replace receivers not included)
10. Clean up and demobilize, leaving broom swept conditions at the site.
Our Cost for the above is $829,937.00 and includes all licenses, insurance, bond, supervision,
labor, materials, hiring and supervision of trades, and everything required for a complete job.
Thank you for the opportunity to present our proposal to The City of Sunny Isles Beach.
k 6,V .
Ed Broccoli
Chief Estimator
NW 5151 Street, Ft.
