Budget Ordinance (Public Hearing) An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Adopting an Operating and Capital Improvement Budget for the Fiscal Year Commencing October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015. Pursuant to Section 200.65, Florida Statutes; Authorizing Expenditures of Funds Established by the Budget; Authorizing Encumbrances: Authorizing Issuance of Checks; Providing for Grants and Gifts; Providing for Local and Federal Law Enforcement Trust Funds; Providing for Post Audit: Providing for Severability and Providing for an Effective Date. (First Reading September 11: 2014) Action: [City Clerk's Note: Heard with Item 3A.] City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Manager Russo reported nothing has changed since the last hearing where we disclosed one minor change to the budget of about 555,000 which you will have in an subsequent modification so we can avoid copying 18 books at approximately 180 pages each, and so it makes sense to do this as recommended by the Finance Director. Public Speakers: None Mayor Edelcup opened the public hearing and being there were no speakers closed the hearing. Commissioner Scholl moved and Vice Mayor Aelion seconded a motion to adopt the Ordinance on second reading. Ordinance No. 2013 -436 was adopted by a roll call vote of 5 -0 in favor, at 5:35 p.m. Vote: Commissioner Gatto ves Commissioner Levin ves Commissioner Scholl ves Vice Mayor Aelion ves Mayor Edelcup yes 4. ORDINANCES FOR FIRST READING 4A. Add -On: An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Amending Ordinance No. 2014 -436; Amending the City's Budget No. BA1415 -01 for the 2014 -2015 Fiscal Year to Adjust the General Fund for Parks Capital Outlay Requests; Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Implement the Terms and Conditions of this Ordinance; and Providing for an Effective Date. Action: Deferred to October 16. 2014. 5.
