BEFORE BEGINING ANY DEMOLITION WORK, THE CONTRACTOR <br />SHALL SURVEY THE SITE AND EXAMINE THE DRAWINGS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS TO DETERMINE THE EXTENT OF THE WORK. <br />2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ENGINEER, CONSTRUCT AND <br />MAINTAIN SHORING, BRACING, AND SUPPORTS AS REQUIRED. <br />3. UPON COMPLETION OF DEMOLITION, THE ENTIRE AREA SHALL <br />BE CLEANED OF ALL DEBRIS AND PREPARED FOR NEW <br />CONSTRUCTION. <br />4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAKE EVERY REASONABLE EFFORT <br />TO PERFORM THE WORK AND MAINTAIN SAFETY TO THE PUBLIC <br />AND WORKERS, ALSO THE PROTECTION OF PROPERTY <br />THROUGHOUT CONSTRUCTION. ALL WORK SHALL BE <br />PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH OSHA STANDARDS, AS <br />APPLICABLE. <br />5. AT ALL TIMES DURING THE COURSE OF CONSTRUCTION, THE <br />CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN ENTRANCE AND EXIT ACCESS <br />TO ALL FACILITIES AFFECTED BY THE CONSTRUCTION. <br />6. COORDINATE WITH OWNER ALL BARRIERS FOR SECURITY, <br />SAFETY AND PROTECTION, ALL WORK HOURS AND LOCATION OF <br />DUMPSTER. <br />7. ALL DISPOSAL OF EXCESS DEMOLITION, RUBBISH AND DEBRIS <br />SHALL BE MADE OUTSIDE THE LIMITS OF CONSTRUCTION AT A <br />LEGAL DISPOSAL SITE PROVIDED BY THE CONTRACTOR. <br />MATERIAL CLEARED FROM THE SITE SHALL NOT BE DEPOSITED <br />ON ADJACENT AND/OR NEARBY PROPERTY. <br />8. COORDINATE WITH ARCHITECTURE & ENGINEERING <br />CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS AS REQUIRED FOR DEMOLITION <br />PURPOSES. <br />9. COORDINATE WITH OWNER AND/OR UTILITY COMPANY FOR <br />EQUIPMENT RELOCATION/REMOVAL IMPACTING AREAS OUTSIDE <br />THE LIMITS OF CONSTRUCTION. <br />10. ALL MATERIALS TO BE REMOVED DURING DEMOLITION AND <br />REUSED LATER IN CONSTRUCTION; IS TO BE PROTECTED AND <br />RESTORED TO STANDARD ACCEPTABLE TO OWNER PRIOR <br />RE-INSTALLATION. <br />11. ALL EXISTING CERAMIC FLOOR, WALL TILE, CARPET AND BASE <br />TO BE REMOVED THROUGHOUT THE SPACE. <br />12. COORDINATE AREAS OF DEMOLITION BETWEEN ALL DEMOLITION <br />DRAWINGS. <br />13. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FIELD VERIFY ALL BUILDING SYSTEMS, <br />STRUCTURE AND EXISTING CONDITIONS. <br />14. GC TO COORDINATE REMOVAL AND /OR DISCONNECTION OF ALL <br />COMMUNICATION AND SECURITY DEVICES WITH SERVICE <br />PROVIDER PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF WORK. <br />STRUCTURAL DEMOLITION NOTES <br />15. ALL STRUCTURAL STEEL, FRAMING, ETC. WITHIN THE <br />DESIGNATED DEMOLITION AREA SHALL BE DEMOLISHED <br />ACCORDING TO SPECIFICATIONS. ALL DEMOLITION WITHIN <br />FOOTPRINT TO BE COORDINATED WITH THESE DRAWINGS AND <br />ANY DISCREPANCIES SHALL BE REPORTED TO THE <br />ARCHITECT/ENGINEER. <br />16. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL LIMIT THE ACCUMULATION OF DEBRIS <br />TO A MAXIMUM LOADING OF 100 P.S.F. <br />17. CARE SHALL BE TAKEN DURING DEMOLITION SO AS NOT TO <br />DAMAGE OR ALTER ANY EXISTING ELEMENTS TO REMAIN.
