I � A� I �E� P <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025 - <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING A PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH AND ARTHUR MAKSUMOV AND KRISTINA KAKURIYEVA FOR <br />THE PURCHASE AND SALE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 225191 TERRACE, IN <br />THE AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS AND NO <br />CENTS ($1,400,000.00), ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, Arthur Maksumov and Kristina Kakuriyeva (the "Owners") are the owners of the <br />parcel located at 225 191 Terrace, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 (the "Property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Sunny Isles Beach ("the City") has been in <br />negotiations with the Owners for the purchase and sale of the Property; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has determined that the Property is uniquely situated for <br />municipal purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to approve a Purchase and Sale Agreement forthe <br />purchase of the Property, in an amount not to exceed One Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars <br />and No Cents ($1,400,000.00), attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approval of Purchase and Sale Agreement. The City Commission hereby approves a <br />Purchase and Sale Agreement for the purchase of the property located at 225191 Terrace, Sunny <br />Isles Beach, FL 33160, in an amount not to exceed One Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars and <br />No Cents ($1,400,000.00), attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br />Section 2. Authorization of Mayor. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said Purchase <br />and Sale Agreement. <br />Section 3. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br />things necessary to effectuate this Resolution, including authorization to expend incidental costs <br />associated with the closing of the Property purchase. <br />Section 4.
