Pursuant to Ordinance No. <br />2025-628, Commission approval is required prior to the issuance of official City proclamations. <br />The proclamations listed in the Resolution recognize nationally and internationally designated <br />observances that promote awareness of significant cultural, historical, health -related, and humanitarian <br />causes. Approval of this Resolution authorizes the issuance of the identified proclamations as <br />requested. <br />The Resolution also clarifies that elected officials may continue to request additional proclamations <br />throughout the year in accordance with Ordinance No. 2025-628. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />Some proclamations proposed by the City Manager's Office on this list are required for grants or <br />honorable designations such as Arbor Day for our Tree City USA designation. <br />The following observances are requested with this resolution for the balance of this calendar year. <br />March <br />Item Number: 9.W <br />970 <br />
