While a draft ITB has been finalized, given the recent volatility and increase in <br />fuel prices, staff believes it is in the City's best interest at this time to piggyback on existing rates rather <br />than proceed with issuing a competitive bid, as diesel prices are unpredictable. <br />Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) awarded contract # FY23-029 titled: Motor Coach <br />Transportation Services to various Contractors, including Academy Bus LLC. The City is seeking to <br />piggyback this existing contract for a one-year term, effective May 24, 2026, for a total NTE amount of <br />$137,850. <br />Please note, Academy Bus is used for various transportation services including Summer Camp Trips, <br />Teen Trips, Winter Camp, Spring Break and Cultural Event trips. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />Item Number: 9.M <br />478 <br />
