Approach / Methodology Design Approach Narrative Artistic Holiday Designs approaches each municipal holiday program as an opportunity to transform public spaces into immersive seasonal destinations that enhance community engagement, strengthen civic identity, and create memorable experiences for residents and visitors alike. For the City of Sunny Isles Beach, our design approach focuses on creating a cohesive citywide holiday experience that complements the City’s vibrant coastal character while maintaining a welcoming, elegant, and inclusive atmosphere throughout all project locations. The proposed program incorporates a balanced combination of illuminated streetscape décor, palm tree lighting, gateway enhancements, focal displays, and interactive photo opportunities designed to activate parks, corridors, and public gathering spaces throughout the holiday season. By combining decorative lighting with strategically placed focal elements, the program creates visual continuity across the City while allowing each location to maintain its own unique character. Special consideration has been given to South Florida’s coastal environment. Our team utilizes durable commercial-grade décor and weather-resistant lighting systems designed to perform in conditions including salt air exposure, humidity, wind, and heavy pedestrian traffic while maintaining visual consistency and operational reliability throughout the season. Artistic Holiday Designs maintains a large inventory of commercial-grade décor, allowing flexibility for future enhancements, annual refresh opportunities, and scalable program growth. Throughout the design process, our team works collaboratively with City staff to refine décor selections, placement strategies, and visual priorities to ensure the final program aligns with the City’s vision, operational goals, and community atmosphere.
