A fully recyclable biomaterial made from an extremely abundant organic material: sugar cane. The plant is turned into dehydrated bioethanol in our lab and arrives as granules in our workshop. These granules are dyed with natural colors, injected into our 3D printers and, in turn, produce our eco-friendly, biodegradable structures. That’s an ocean of plastic. Every year, 8 million tons of waste end up in our oceans. It creates a mass of floating plastic equal to one-third the size of Europe. For us at Holiday Outdoor Decor, that’s unacceptable. So, a program was developed that recycles plastic from the food industry to help create the material for our displays.
