<br />14 <br />RFP 26-04-01 CITYWIDE HOLIDAY LIGHTING & DECORATING SERVICES <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br /> <br /> <br />2.6 METHOD OF AWARD <br /> <br />After evaluation, the award recommendation must be presented to City Commission for final <br />approval. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible proposer whose proposal is <br />determined to be the most advantageous to the City, taking into consideration total cost and all <br />other evaluation factors set forth in the Request for Proposals. <br /> <br /> See section 4 of this solicitation. <br /> <br />2.7 COMPENSATION <br /> <br />The City shall not be liable for any cost increases or escalation associated with labor, services, <br />materials, equipment or any other costs that may arise during the performance of the Work. In <br />the event the cost of the Work exceeds the amounts defined in Exhibit A- Compensation, the <br />Contractor shall pay such excess from its own funds and the City shall not be liable for any excess. <br />The only exception shall be adjustments to the Contract Price pursuant to written Change Orders, <br />duly executed by the City and Contractor in accordance with the terms and conditions of the <br />awarded Contract and with the same formality and dignity afforded the original Contract <br />.Contractor shall submit invoice for review and processing to Accountspayable@sibfl.net. <br /> <br />Contractor agrees to the following milestone payment terms for the 2026 Holiday <br />Season: <br /> <br />1. 25% deposit upon execution of this Agreement by all Parties. <br /> <br />2. 7.5% payment at completion of parks and rights-of-way tree wrapping, and pole <br />decorations, contingent on satisfactory walk-through inspection by City. <br /> <br />3. 7.5% payment at completion of entrance way decorations and parks decorations, <br />contingent on satisfactory walkthrough inspection by City. <br /> <br />Lines 1 through 3 must be completed by November 02, 2026. <br /> <br />4. 10% payment on December 01, 2026, provided holiday decorations are functioning <br />satisfactorily. <br /> <br />5. 10% payment on December 15, 2026, provided holiday decorations are functioning <br />satisfactorily. <br /> <br />6. 40% payment at take-down of all decorations by Contractor, which must be completed <br />by January 31, 2027. <br /> <br />2.8 INVOICES PAYMENT <br />If applicable, the Awarded contractor shall submit invoice for review and processing to <br />Accountspayable@sibfl.net.
