21 <br />RFP 26-04-01 CITYWIDE HOLIDAY LIGHTING & DECORATING SERVICES <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br />parks, shall be installed by Contractor no later than October 15, 2026. <br />•All park décor shall be installed by Contractor no later than November 2, 2026, or prior. <br />o Installation of all contracted items must be completed by November 02, 2026 or <br />prior, upon written approval from the City and powered on when requested, no <br />later than November 16, 2026. <br />o For subsequent years, the awarded Contractor is required to work with the City to <br />determine the agreed upon installation schedule, which is intended to be very <br />similar to the above 2026 timeline. <br />o All lights must be programmed on timers to be lit no later than 5:30 p.m. <br />o All electrical cords, extensions cords, cord coverings shall be provided by the <br />Contractor. <br />Timeline for removal of decor: <br />o Removal must be completed by January 11 through January 31, 2027, prioritizing <br />the restoration of parks to their original pre-holiday condition. <br />o For subsequent years, removal of lights and decorations shall be done no later than <br />the second week of January. <br />City-Owned Décor: The City is already in possession of the following decorations: three indoor <br />menorahs, and two additional outdoor menorahs. Please do not duplicate these pieces in your <br />design. The City will install these pieces. <br />Intended colors: The selected Contractor shall provide holiday lighting in neutral, <br />non‑holiday‑specific colors. <br />Display: Decorations must feature an inclusive variety of symbolic holiday lights and decorations. <br />Design and Furnish at the following locations: <br />Proposers shall provide detailed drawings and explanations of their lighting plan each year. <br />The Proposer must propose equipment/services for award by the following locations: <br />GROUP 1 – A1A STREET POLE DÉCOR <br />A.A1A Street Pole Décor (161 light poles) – Multi-colored lit decoration <br />B.Collins Avenue (Median) Medjool Palms – Quantity 56, Royal Palms – Quantity 92 <br />C.Sunny Isles Boulevard (163rd Street East Bound) <br />•Medjool palm trees, quantity 65 <br />•Street light poles, quantity 18 <br />•Various Palms <br />D.North Entrance <br />E.William Lehman Causeway Entrance <br />F.South City Entrance <br />G.Gateway Park (151 Sunny Isles Blvd, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160) – minimum requirement <br />is exterior décor that meets or exceeds visual impact of 2025 décor, which consisted of: <br />•Oak Trees, (wrap trunk and canopy), quantity 22
