<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH,
<br />FLORIDA, APPROVING A THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH
<br />WATERFIELD FLORIDA STAFFING, LLC, D/B/A STAFFING CONNECTION, TO
<br />PROVIDE SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD SERVICES, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
<br />EXCEED TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS AND NO CENTS
<br />($235,000.00), ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
<br />TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL
<br />THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN
<br />EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />WHEREAS, on July 2111, 2022, the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach
<br />("City"), via Resolution No. 2022-3391, approved an Agreement with Waterfield Florida Staffing,
<br />LLC, d/b/a Staffing Connection ("Contractor"), to provide school crossing guard services
<br />("Services"), in an amount not to exceed $438,645.60; and
<br />WHEREAS, on June 20, 2024, the City Commission, via Resolution No. 2024-3669,
<br />approved a First Amendment to the Agreement with the Contractor for the Services, exercising
<br />the first of three (3) renewal options in an amount not to exceed $219,322.80.; and
<br />WHEREAS, on September 18, 2025, the City Commission, via Resolution No. 2025-3884,
<br />approved a Second Amendment to the Agreement with the Contractor for the Services,
<br />exercising the second of three (3) renewal options, with no increase in compensation; and
<br />WHEREAS, the City, being satisfied with the Services of the Contractor, wishes to
<br />exercise its third and final renewal option; and
<br />WHEREAS, the Contractor is a certified and insured company, and have expressed their
<br />desire to continue providing the desired Services to the City; and
<br />WHEREAS, the City Commission now wishes to approve a Third Amendment to the
<br />Agreement with the Contractor to provide the desired Services, in an amount not to exceed
<br />Two Hundred Thirty -Five Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($235,000.00), bringing the contract
<br />amount not to exceed Eight Hundred Ninety -Two Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty -Eight Dollars
<br />and Forty Cents ($892,968.40), attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY
<br />ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
<br />Section 1. Approval of Third Amendment. The City Commission hereby approves a Third
<br />Amendment to the Agreement with the Contractor to provide the desired Services, in an
<br />amount not to exceed Two Hundred Thirty -Five Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($235,000.00),
<br />bringing the contract amount not to exceed Eight Hundred Ninety -Two Thousand Nine Hundred
<br />Sixty -Eight Dollars and Forty Cents ($892,968.40), attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
