06000• <br />LMS 2025-2030 PART 1: THE STRATEGY <br />2025 LMS Update Management Plan (LMS-PUMP) <br />The planning process for the 5-year update for the LMS began at the December <br />14, 2023 Quarterly Meeting. At this meeting the LMS Chair presented and dis- <br />cussed the LMS Planning Update Management Plan (LMS-PUMP). This plan in- <br />cluded the schedule for updating the LMS, the information that would be re- <br />quested, the schedule for meetings and workshops that would discuss various el- <br />ements of the plan and the expected roles and responsibilities of the entities in- <br />volved in the update process. <br />In the LMS-PUMP, the following major milestones of the update process were pre- <br />sented: <br />Gam: =25, <br />AR --FEE. =& <br />2xp vole <br />AH® 5 <br />. 425 <br />L,e7E3.., .:.1'f :- ij '-i <br />The roles and responsibilities of the entities involved in the update process are as <br />follows: <br />LMS Chair <br />Responsible for the overall update process. This includes: <br />• Ensures that the new plan meets all the policy requirements for a FEMA <br />approved plan <br />• Provides the LMSWG with a process to update the plan and organizes all <br />the required meetings and, discussions <br />• Documents the meetings, discussions and updates of the plan <br />• Directs the meetings and discussions <br />• Implements the approval process <br />LMSSC <br />• Participate in all PUC meetings and quarterly LMS meetings <br />• Reviews plan and provides recommendations for plan updates <br />• Review draft edits to plan volumes, and approve changes <br />P1-9 <br />
