Selection/Evaluation Process <br />A Selection/Evaluation Committee will be appointed to select the most qualified company. <br />The Selection/Evaluation Committee will present their findings to the City Commission. <br />Proposals will be evaluated using the following criteria: <br />Criteria <br />Point Range <br />1. Company Qualifications and Capabilities 0-35 <br />(Factors including but not limited to those identified below) <br />• Fuel supply delivery capability from Port Everglades <br />Delivery capabilities, such as transportation fleet and personnel <br />2. Emergency Supply Capabilities 0-30 <br />(Factors including but not limited to those identified below) <br />• Control of storage facilities in Tri-County area, and surrounding <br />Counties <br />• Contingency plan of action <br />• Availability of additional emergency storage outside the vicinity of the <br />Tri-County area and surrounding Counties <br />• Availability of trucks and drivers from outside the Tri-County and <br />surrounding counties <br />• Percentage of supply contracted with fuel terminals versus spot <br />purchases based on supplied volume report <br />3. References 0-10 <br />(Factors including but not limited to the following) <br />• Years servicing each referenced customer <br />• Number of locations that the Proposer services for the referenced <br />customer and their capacity <br />4. Cost 0-25 <br />Total 0-100 <br />The Committee has the option to use the above criteria for the initial ranking to short-list <br />Proposers and to use an ordinal ranking system to score short-listed Proposers following <br />11 <br />
