fTY 4F SWci J+ta <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />18070 Collins Avenue <br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160 <br />(305) 947-0606 City Hall <br />(305) 949-3113 Fax <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners <br />VIA: Stan Morris, City Manager <br />FROM: Edward Santiago, Chief of Police <br />DATE: July 16, 2026 <br />RE: Agreement with Millenium Products Inc for CCTV Installation of a Long <br />Range Camera at the Pier <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />This item is being presented for consideration by the City Commission. <br />REASONS: <br />The attached agreement is with Millenium Products, Inc. for the purchase, installation, configuration, <br />and commissioning of a long-range pan -tilt -zoom (PTZ) camera to be mounted on the City's pier. The <br />installation of this camera will enhance surveillance and monitoring capabilities in and around the pier <br />area, improving public safety, operational awareness, and security of public assets. The project includes <br />all necessary equipment, mounting hardware, installation services, system integration, testing, and <br />related components required for a complete and operational deployment. <br />The total project cost is $70,594.99. In addition, a contingency allowance of $4,405.01 is included to <br />address any unforeseen conditions or minor modifications that may arise during installation. The total <br />authorization requested under this agreement is $75,000.00 which was allocated as a capital outlay <br />expense this fiscal year. <br />The proposed procurement is being accomplished through a cooperative purchasing method by <br />piggybacking General Services Administration (GSA) Contract No. GS-07F-0031W. <br />Item Number: 9.0 <br />91 <br />
