RESOLUTION NO. 2026 - e; —A <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br />FLORIDA, AWARDING REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NO. 26-04-01 TO, AND <br />APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH, ALL SEASONS IMPORTS, D/B/A THE <br />CHRISTMAS PALACE TO INSTALL HOLIDAY LIGHTS AND DECORATIONS AT <br />VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE CITY, IN A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO <br />EXCEED TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS AND NO, CENTS <br />($250,000.00), ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, on April 3, 2026, the City of Sunny Isles Beach (the "City") issued and <br />advertised Request for Proposal No. 26-04-01 (the "RFP") for holiday lighting and decorations <br />(the "Services"), for which nine (9) responses were received; and <br />WHEREAS, upon evaluation, City staff determined that All Seasons Imports, d/b/a The <br />Christmas Palace (the "Vendor") submitted the lowest responsive and responsible proposal; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to approve an Agreement with the Vendor to <br />provide the desired Services, in a total amount not to exceed Two Hundred Fifty Thousand <br />Dollars and No Cents ($250,000.00) which includes a contingency, if necessary, in an amount <br />not to exceed Nine Thousand Six Hundred Seventy -Five Dollars and No Cents ($9,675.00), <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approval of the Agreement. The City Commission hereby approves an <br />Agreement with the Vendor to provide the desired Services, in a total amount not to exceed <br />Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($250,000.00), which includes a contingency, <br />if necessary, in an amount not to exceed Nine Thousand Six Hundred Seventy -Five Dollars and <br />No Cents ($9,675.00), attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br />Section 2. Authorization of the Mayor. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said <br />Agreement. <br />Section 3. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br />things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. <br />Section 4. Effective Date.
