Russo, City Manager <br /> DATE: 3/19/2015 <br /> Agreement with Coastal Systems International,' Inc. for <br /> RE: Consulting Engineering and Environmental Services <br /> Relative to Beach Management <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Attached for your consideration is a Resolution approving an <br /> Agreement with Coastal Systems International, Inc. <br /> • <br /> REASONS: <br /> On June 19, 2008 via Resolution No. 2008-1279 the City Commission <br /> approved an Agreement with Coastal Systems International, Inc., to <br /> prepare a comprehensive Phase I Shoreline Stabilization Study <br /> Report that evaluated coastal processes along the 2.5 miles of the <br /> City. The Report dated 2009 was prepared based on pre-2008 survey <br /> data, and it provided some recommendations for beach management <br /> and shoreline stabilization. <br /> The City now wishes to have an updated and expanded study of <br /> Beach Erosion Mitigation Techniques conducted by Coastal Systems <br /> International, Inc.
