RESOLUTION NO. 2015- 239 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE REQUEST SUBMITTED BY 18555 DEVELOPERS, LLC ("APPLICANT") FOR A MODIFICATION OF AN APPROVED TEMPORARY SIGN FOR THE PORSCHE DESIGN TOWER PROJECT SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; PROVIDING THE CITY MANAGER WITH THE AUTHORITY TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission approved under Resolution No. 2012-1971, adopted on September 20th, 2012, a request from 18555 Developers, LLC to install a temporary sign for its sales center, and; WHEREAS, 18555 Developers, LLC has submitted an application to[the City of Sunny Isles Beach requesting to place two temporary banners on the tower wall for the Porsche Design Tower Miami Project; and WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to approve the request to place temporary banners on the tower wall for Porsche Design Tower Miami Project. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approval of Temporary Banners. Pursuant to Section 265-14 of the Code of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, the City Commission hereby approves the request submitted by the Applicant, subject to the conditions set forth in Section 2 below. Section 2. Conditions. The Applicant is required to obtain all necessary permits for the installation of the two banners and such banners must be installed according Ito plans submitted with this application. The banners must be removed from the tower no later than August 1, 2016 unless an extension is provided by the City Manager or designee and banners cannot be relocated. Section 3. Authorization of the City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution Section 4. Effective Date.
