Under Section 265-18 (I);
modifications relating to a decrease in density or intensity requires the approval of the City
Commission even if the decrease is minor.
The purpose of this Ordinance is to allow administrative approval of decrease in the number of
units or square footage in an approved site plan where the decrease is not more than five percent
(5%) of the number of units or square footage approved in the site plan. This Ordinance will
allow a small percentage of units to be combined or eliminated without the need for approval of
the City Commission. Essentially, this Ordinance provides for a mechanism to decrease density
and intensity in an approved development project.
This Ordinance was requested by Mayor George "Bud” Scholl.
•
