<br />professional services under this continuing services contract. The services sought by the City may include planning,
<br />engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, right of way engineering, construction engineering, civil engineering,
<br />environmental engineering, survey, mechanical and electrical engineering, preparation of plans and specifications,
<br />construction management, project management, and contract administration. Under the Architectural services category,
<br />the scope of services include complete construction drawings and specification for buildings, building additions,
<br />renovations, and other projects. This category includes all relevant engineering disciplines. Under the Landscape
<br />Architectural services category, the scope of services include providing drawings and specification for landscaping projects.

<br />Responsible for the massing studies and graphics for the South Point rezoning efforts of Miami Beach, Florida,
<br />generating prototypical plans showing the potential development of the area under the proposed zoning regulations,
<br />which were subsequently adopted.

<br />ACAI has been contracted to provide consulting services to the CRA for specific projects when authorized by the CRA,
<br />for any and all levels of landscape architectural services including, but not limited to site design, design development,
<br />construction documents and construction administration for a project. The CRA may elect to have ACAI provide design
<br />criteria documents if the CRA decides to implement a project by the design /build approach. The continuing service
<br />contract is open ended.
<br />NSU CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR CORAL REEF ECOSYSTEMS SCIENCE RESEARCH FACILITY
<br />Hollywood, Florida
<br />The proposed new Center of Excellence for Coral Reef Ecosystems Science Research Facility is a signature, state of
<br />the art, facility of approximately 86,000 square feet. The design, which will be provided by ACAI and Cannon, will
<br />promote research by faculty, researchers, visiting scientists, post - doctoral fellows, and graduate students through
<br />careful attention to functionality, safety, physical, environmental, and experimental /research needs, together with
<br />controls and operational considerations. The proposed COE CRES facility will be designed to meet LEEDO Silver
<br />certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). The project is partially funded by a $15 million
<br />National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Grant provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment
<br />Act (ARRA) that is being match by NSU.
<br />DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION
<br />Hollywood, Florida
<br />In charge of the site planning and landscape architecture of this major renovation of downtown of Hollywood, Florida.
<br />The project comprised the total reconstruction of the right -of -way of Hollywood Boulevard from Young Circle west to
<br />21 st Avenue. The plan combined the modern day requirements of the area, with the historical character of its founding
<br />in the 1920's, with new pavements, lighting, signage, banners, plantings, traffic signals, and parking. A State Route was
<br />diverted off of this portion of Hollywood Boulevard to provide a more pedestrian friendly area for the local merchants
<br />and citizens.
