CONNORS, P.E. <br />Senior Civil Engineer <br />Sawgrass Sanctuary Park - City of Sunrise - Project Manager for this <br />environmental interpretive passive park constructed on a 21 -acre parcel <br />located at the Southwest corner of Interstate 75 and State Road 84 within the <br />City of Sunrise. Mr. Connors was responsible for the design and permitting of <br />all aspects of construction of this unique park for the City of Sunrise. This park <br />includes the creation of an enormous wetland as well as picnic pavilions, <br />interpretive stations, animal footprint teaching pads, boardwalk with porthole <br />viewing terminals, an observation platform, fishing pier, canoe trails and even a <br />concert platform. <br />Sabal Pines Park - City of Coconut Creek - Project Manager for this 5.5 million <br />dollars, 53 -acre sports facility for the City of Coconut Creek. Services included <br />preliminary site planning, through design development, construction document <br />preparation, bidding and construction, This unique facility provides a wide <br />variety of active and passive recreation opportunities for the residents of <br />Coconut Creek. The amenities include two soccer fields, four baseball /softball <br />fields, two tennis courts, two in -line hockey rinks, two unique tot lots, a nature <br />trail through a preserved conservation area, a jogging path, a recreated <br />wetland, a lakefront boardwalk, a group picnic shelter, two family picnic <br />shelters, a restroom / picnic shelter, a concession / restroom / administration <br />building, a maintenance building with compound and numerous parking areas. <br />South County Neighborhood Improvement Project, Broward County <br />Infrastructure review and replacement project. Special role included modeling <br />and design of sanitary sewer systems. <br />Central County Neighborhood Improvement Project, Broward County <br />Infrastructure review and replacement project. Special role included modeling <br />and design of sanitary sewer systems. <br />North County Neighborhood Improvement Project, Broward County - <br />Infrastructure review and replacement project. Special role included modeling <br />and design of sanitary sewer systems. <br />North Central County Neighborhood Improvement Project, Broward County - <br />Infrastructure review and replacement project. Special role included modeling <br />and design of sanitary sewer systems. <br />South Florida State Hospital, Pembroke Pines - Project Manager for <br />redevelopment of a partially developed 37 -acre site which included a series of <br />new buildings, expansion of existing buildings and improvements to the <br />parking and roadway infrastructure.
