CALL TO ORDERJROLL CALL OF MEMBERS <br /> Mayor Samson called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m., with the following officials <br /> present: <br /> Mayor David Samson <br /> Vice Mayor Danny Iglesias <br /> Commissioner Norman S. Edelcup <br /> Commissioner Gerry Goodman <br /> City Manager Christopher J. Russo <br /> City Clerk Richard Brown-Morilla <br /> Deputy City Attorney Hans Ottinot <br /> Commissioner Lila Kauffman (absent) <br /> INTRODUCTIONS: <br /> Mayor Samson read an introductory statement on decorum. � <br /> He then introduced Shelley Eichner, City Planning Consultant, and Vice President of <br /> Calvin Giordano and Assoc. <br /> Public Speakers: Shelley Eichner; Jorge Vera; Diana Grub-Frieser <br /> 2. Discussion regarding the Proposed Land Development Regulations: <br /> A. B-1 and B-2 Zoning Districts: <br /> Mayor Samson said there was agreement among the Commissioners, and so there was no <br /> need to discuss B-1. Ms. Eichner distributed and reviewed la graphic showing <br /> differences that would result from taller and thinner buildings. Commissioner Edelcup <br /> expressed the desire to have adequate front and side setbacks to provide for pedestrian <br /> friendly plaza environments. Vice Mayor Iglesias said he would like to see a <br /> combination of tall and thin buildings, mixed in with smaller buildings.
