At some point a unilateral decision <br /> was made to close the easement by putting a gate in front of it for security. Recent negotiations <br /> between the City and the condominium association resulted in their suggestion of moving the <br /> easement to the south,which involves an impact on parking. City staff recommended approval <br /> of the request. <br /> City Attorney Dannheisser asked John Shepherd to publically disclose the nature of his private <br /> conversation with Mayor Samson which occurred during the public hearing. Mr. Shepherd <br /> provided a n explanation, and the subject was not related. City Attorney Dannheisser cautioned <br /> the audience not to engage the members of the City Commission in private conversation while <br /> they were hearing applications of a quasi-judicial nature. <br /> Vice Mayor Turetsky moved and Commissioner Morrow seconded a motion to approve the <br /> request.
