RESOLUTION NO. 2015-zy so <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH OF <br /> MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE CITY <br /> OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH TENTATIVE AD VALOREM TAX <br /> MILLAGE LEVY RATE AT 2.5000 MILLS PER ONE <br /> THOUSAND DOLLARS (51,000.00)OF TAXABLE ASSESSED <br /> VALUE WHICH IS 10.45% MORE THAN THE "ROLLED <br /> BACK" RATE OF 2.2634 MILLS, FOR FISCAL YEAR <br /> 2015/2016; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS,the Property Appraiser of Miami-Dade County,Florida,served upon the City of <br /> Sunny Isles Beach a"Certification of 2015 Taxable Value"; and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Section 200.065, F.S.,the City of Sunny Isles Beach furnished the <br /> County Property Appraiser the proposed millage rate, and the date, time and place at which public <br /> hearings will be held to consider the tentative millage rate and tentative budget; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Commission agrees to establish the proposed ad valorem tax millage levy <br /> rate at 2.5000 mills per One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00).of taxable assessed value. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Adopt the Tentative Millaee Rate. The proposed millage rate is hereby adopted as <br /> 2.5000 mills per One Thousand Dollars($1,000.00)of assessed property value in the City of Sunny <br /> Isles Beach. The proposed millage reflected is 10.45% more than the "rolled back" rate of 2.2634 <br /> mills, for Fiscal Year 2015/2016. <br /> Section 2. Effective Date.
