• SUMMARY MINUTES City of Sunny Isles Beach Historic Preservation Board Meeting Government Center, 18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach Monday, June 6, 2005, 6:00 p.m. 1. CALL TO ORDER BY CHAIRPERSON: Action: Chairperson Dione Del Monico called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m. The following Committee Members and City Officials were present: Committee Members: City Officials: Dione E. Del Monico, Chairperson Mayor Norman S. Edelcup Joe Masters Commissioner;Gerry Goodman Trina Duluc Acting City Attorney Erica N. Wright Phillip Chernoff City Clerk Jane A. Hines Casey Gabor Bonita Shoki City Liaison: Absent Members: Richard Schulman, City Historian Michelle D'Arbelles Audience: Ben Torter, Miami Herald Jesse Jacob 2. SELF INTRODUCTIONS: Action: Chairperson Del Monico thanked everyone for attending this third meeting of the Historic Preservation Board and City Clerk Hines called the roll. Chairperson Del Monico welcomed the new members, Trina Duluc and Bonita Shoki; and members introduced themselves. [Note: There was no quorum at the last meeting of December 20, 2004]. Chairperson Del Monico asked Acting City Attorney Wright to present to the Board at the next meeting: • the State attendance requirements for maintaining membership on the Board; • quorum requirements; • voting requirements; • how many times a year must the Board meet; and • the Sunshine Law. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR THE JULY 26, 2004 HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD MEETING: Action: Casey Gabor made a correction under#3, names of members moving and seconding the motion, and City Clerk Hines said she would correct it.
