Approval of Minutes for the September II, 2007 Historic Preservation Board Meeting: <br /> Action: Phillip Chemoff noted a change on page 6, last sentence of third paragraph, should read as <br /> follows: "Philip Chemoff noted that he volunteered to be a tour guide as a member of the City's <br /> Fashion, Film,Entertainment&Production Council,and ...". Cassey Gabor noted changes on page <br /> 2, in the middle of the third paragraph,it should read"Cassey Gabor asked about the restaurant,that <br /> it can be fixed and bring revenue to the City,...", and on page 6,the first sentence should read"City <br /> in Town Center Park as a continuation of the pathway that will go through the Harvey Baker Graves <br /> Mangrove Reserve, and ...", and in paragraph 6. second sentence, should read "and have it as an <br /> Historic Station for the Water Taxi. with memorabilia from the Lagoon Restaurant". <br /> Phillip Chemoff moved and Cassey Gabor seconded a motion to approve the September 11,2007 <br /> Board meeting summary minutes, as amended. The motion was approved by a 6-0-1 (Trina <br /> Duluc absent) vote. <br /> 3. Resolutions/Discussion: Update on the Newport Fishing Pier. <br /> A Resolution of the Historic Preservation Board of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, <br /> Expressing Support for the City's Efforts to Enter into Separate Lease Agreements with the <br /> State of Florida and Five Seas Investors,Inc. in Order to Repair,Reconstruct and Operate the <br /> Newport Fishing Pier; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: Chairperson Masters introduced City Manager A. John Szerlag who reported on the status <br /> of the Newport Fishing Pier. City Manager Szerlag handed out a report that will be discussed at the <br /> Summary Minutes 2008-0115 HPB Mtg Page 1 of 4 <br />
