7. New Business. • Cassey Gabor asked City Historian Schulman if the list of artifacts that the City owns has been completed, and City Historian Schulman said yes, we prepared a list of the major pieces such as the Horse and Carriage;etc., and a Letter Agreement will be completed by the Dezers on the artifacts. Cassey Gabor asked if there were any other artifacts that are not displayed, and he said no but we do have a number of photographs, and that the Egyptian pieces are ready to be displayed once that is ready. Warren Stamm said another City did a drive"Remember When",and they were amazed at how many items they received. It just needs a grass roots effort to reach out to gather them, and it would give the City the PR. Former Commissioner Brezin said that Seth Bramson is into this extensively, and City Historian Schulman said Mr. Bramson has already donated several photographs and they are already up in History Hall. • Cassey Gabor asked if we can get a motel to be designated as an historic site, and it was noted that the Dezers already purchased those properties. Cassey Gabor then suggested that Mary Magdalen Church be designated as historic,and City Historian Schulman said it has been discussed many times and it doesn't meet the criteria. Janet Cini said it has been here since the 60's, and that it was once a Lutheran Church. • Cassey Gabor suggested that the 20-minute film produced by Seth Bramson be showed on Channel 77 once a month, and Janet Cini suggested it be showed in June around the anniversary of the City. • City Manager Cohen introduced the new Assistant City Manager Sharon Ragoonan over Community Development which includes Building, Zoning, and Code Enforcement. 8. Date and Time of Next Meeting. Action: After discussion it was decided to schedule the next meeting on Wednesday, September 5,2012 at 7:00 p.m. City Manager Cohen noted that a potential application might need to come before the Board as Commissioner Scholl is interested in doing landscaping to his property, and since his home is an historic site, the request will need to come before the Board and so we may need to meet sooner. Trina Duluc asked about his windows being boarded up and if he can remove the boards, and City Manager Cohen said he will check into it. 9. Adjournment.
