CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Scholl at 10:00 a.m., with the following officials <br /> present: <br /> Mayor George "Bud" Scholl City Manager Christopher J. Russo <br /> Vice Mayor Jeanette Gatto Deputy City Attorney Fernando Amuchastegui <br /> Commissioner Isaac Aelion City Clerk Jane A. Hines, MMC <br /> Commissioner Dana Goldman Deputy City Manager Stan Morris <br /> Commissioner Jennifer Levin <br /> 2. OPENING REMARKS <br /> Action: Mayor Scholl gave opening remarks. <br /> 3. RESOLUTIONS <br /> 3A. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida,Approving a <br /> Maintenance Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for <br /> the Installation of Sidewalk Pavers on Collins Avenue, in Substantially the Same Form <br /> Attached Hereto as Exhibit "A"; Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Said Agreement; <br /> Authorizing the City Attorney and the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to <br /> Effectuate the Terms of this Agreement; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Manager Russo reported that certain <br /> sidewalks are being upgraded to pavers. As FDOT owns the right-of-way, they are <br /> requesting the City to enter into a Maintenance of Agreement(MOA). This project includes <br /> the sidewalks at 19575 Collins Avenue (Regalia), 17501 Collins Avenue (Monaco), and <br /> 17475 Collins Avenue (Chateau). <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Commissioner Aelion moved and Vice Mayor Gatto seconded a motion to approve the <br /> resolution. Resolution No. 2015-2482 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> 4. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> 4A. Discussion regarding the Beach Erosion Management Report. <br /> Action: City Manager Russo introduced Jordan Cheifet, Senior Engineer,and Penny Cutt of <br /> Coastal Systems International,Inc.,who are very familiar with the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br />
