<br />01519 - 2/2 <br />3.03 ROADWAY BASE CONSTRUCTION: The base shall be constructed to <br />the lines and grades shown on the Drawings and conform to SECTIONS <br />02232, Limerock Base. <br />3.04 ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT: All pavement for the detour roads <br />shall be constructed as shown on the Drawings and conform to SECTION <br />02513, Asphalt Concrete Pavement, of these Specifications. <br />3.05 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MARKINGS: Pavement markings shall conform <br />to the requirements of FDOT Standard Specification Section 102-3.2.5. <br />and the Manual of Traffic Control and Safe Practices for Street and <br />Highway Construction. <br />3.06 MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC: All lanes that are being used for the <br />maintenance of traffic shall be adequately maintained in accordance with <br />FDOT Standard Specification Section 102-2.1 and 102-2.2. <br />3.07 TRAFFIC CONTROL: The Contractor shall provide, install, and maintain <br />adequate traffic control devices, warning devices, and barriers in <br />accordance with FDOT Standard Specification Section 102-3, Traffic <br />Control, and applicable sections of the Manual of Traffic Control and Safe <br />Practices for Street and Highway Construction. <br />3.08 REMOVAL: The roadway base, surface, and embankments shall be <br />removed to the original grades and lines or those required on the <br />Drawings. The asphalt pavement shall be disposed of off-site. All existing <br />pavement, shoulders, drainage, and other appurtenances shall be restored <br />to the condition prior to the start of construction. <br />3.09 SIGNAGE REMOVAL: If removing existing traffic signage along the <br />roadways, the Contractor shall be responsible for providing temporary <br />signage during construction. The temporary signage shall be visible to the <br />motorized vehicles. Once construction is completed, the Contractor shall <br />be responsible for relocating the existing signage in the same pre- <br />construction location. <br />3.10 ROADWAY RESTORATION: Roadways damaged by the Contractor shall <br />be restored to their original condition by the Contractor subject to approval <br />of the Owner or Engineer. <br />3.11 TEMPORARY WALKS AND DRIVEWAYS: All temporary walks and <br />driveways shall be removed by the Contractor prior to final acceptance and <br />the ground returned to its original condition, unless otherwise required by <br />the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />END OF SECTION <br />
