(ECT); an engineering, geology, and asbestos <br /> I consulting business with an office in Fort Lauderdale, is pleased to submit an original, one copy, <br /> and one electronic copy on CD expressing our interest in, knowledge of, and willingness to pro- <br /> vide the referenced services for the City of Sunny Isles Beach (City). ECT has provided envi- <br /> ronmental engineering consulting services for Broward County, other cities (Fort Lauderdale. <br /> -Pompano Beach, Pembroke Pines; etc.) and counties in South Florida and other parts of Florida, <br /> the State of Florida, federal agencies, and private firms. The ECT team has the personnel, experi- <br /> ence, and availability to provide the City with the necessary expertise and a cost-effective ap- <br /> proach to meet the objectives of this important program. <br /> The ECT team has the staff experience in Civil/ Environmental Engineering Consultant services <br /> I . <br /> and major disciplines requested in the RFQ, including drainage system design, force main analy- <br /> sis and stormwater management. In addition, ECT has experience in preparing Phase I and II en- <br /> vironmental site assessments (ESAs), performing field sampling and monitoring; completing de- - <br /> I velopments of regional impact and providing planning services; providing air emissions testing <br /> and permitting services; installing and abandoning monitor wells; preparing site assessment re- <br /> ports; as well as conducting asbestos abatement and sophisticated air, water, soil, and groundwa- <br /> I ter sampling; grant support services for remediation reimbursement; regulatory compliance au- <br /> dits; mold and indoor air quality; brownfteld issues; ordinance development and implementation: <br /> • <br /> endangered and threatened species surveys; wetland delineations and mitigation; remediation <br /> I - system design and operation; NEPA-environmental assessments; historical,and archaeological <br /> reviews; environmental/social justice evaluations; and environmental testing and monitoring. <br /> I . ECT personnel complete over 100 Phase I and II ESAs on commercial and industrial properties <br /> throughout Florida on an annual basis. In addition, ECT has provided comprehensive engineering <br /> -consulting services in all 67 counties in Florida from our seven offices within the state; and is <br /> thoroughly familiar with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
