<br /> • - ' Since our inception in 1960, EDSA has had a tremendous influence on the trends of
<br /> smart growth within the practice of planning and landscape architecture. On a number of
<br /> r : , F, itLoccasions, we have developed master plans, zoning ordinances and design guidelines for
<br /> =E°,� "( i coastal communities that encourage positive growth. Some of these experiences include
<br /> "� y , a_' the development of design guidelines for the Fort Lauderdale Beach and the Riverwalk in
<br /> -c: Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In Fort Lauderdale, these design guidelines helped to guide the
<br /> C r'= `Cf:'n--- development and redevelopment of two strategic areas within the City. Recently, EDSA has
<br /> 4� led the charge for the Downtown Mixed Use District Ordinance for the City of Oakland Park.

<br /> - , c e cf , ?" Community Redevelopment Area, EDSA as part of a mulit-disciplinary team, spearheaded
