<br /> Credited with raising the bar in cultural contextual design by recreating life as it used to be
<br /> for residents along Dubai Creek. Madinat Jumeirah gracefully celebrates history.Complete
<br /> with waterways, abras, wind towers and a bustling souk. the S1.2 billion project is one of
<br /> the largest and best known destinations in Dubai. A total of 940 rooms were positioned
<br /> throughout the site, offering guests views of resort activities. waterways. gardens. private
<br /> beaches and/or the Arabian Sea. The modern day oasis of Old Dubai includes a cultural
<br /> village with museum, souk-style retail complex, an extensive range of restaurants, bars.
<br /> and cafes, a 9,000-square meter fully equipped convention center, and the largest spa
<br /> and fitness center in the region(valise Wellness Spa). EDSA was awarded a 2009 Florida
<br /> Chapter ASLA Award of Excellence for Madinat Jumeirah.
<br /> EDSA was involved in the planning and design of the project since its inception and
<br /> continued to work nonstop through design development and construction administration.
