<br /> IMcMahon Associates, Inc. (McMahon) is pleased to submit one (1) original, one (1) copy and one (1) electronic
<br /> copy of our Qualifications to the City of Sunny Isles Beach, to assist the City with the service type of: Traffic
<br /> Engineering and Transportation Consulting Services. We are a full-service Transportation Engineering firm
<br /> Ithat offers traffic engineering, transportation planning, and roadway/signal design services to the City of
<br /> Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. We trust that the content and brevity of our response meets with your approval.
<br /> McMahon is a full-service transportation engineering and planning firm with offices in Florida, Pennsylvania,
<br /> I
<br /> New Jersey, Maryland and Massachusetts. We are licensed in the State of Florida to provide professional
<br /> Iservices and have enclosed the requisite documents, as proof of this registration. We also offer to the City,
<br /> • John P. Kim, P.E., PTOE, as our Project Manager. Mr. Kim is a Registered Licensed Professional Engineer in
<br /> the State of Florida, and an ITE Certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer. He has over 18 years of
<br /> experience, all within South Florida, and he has managed more than three (3) of these types of similar projects,
<br /> such as: Village of Pinecrest, Miami-Dade EDP, and City of Palm Beach Gardens.
<br /> McMahon is familiar with Miami-Dade County and Sunny Isles Beach codes, ordinances and resolutions. We
<br /> understand, too, that we are responsible, as per the requirements of the projects within the defined service
<br /> Itype, for all federal, state and local permits, including but not limited to Miami-Dade Water and Sewer; DERM;
<br /> Environmental; HRS; Public Works; Florida Department of Transportation; and for coordination with all
<br /> departments of the City of Sunny Isles Beach.
<br /> 1 Our approach to this project hill follow a few basic tenets to ensure the successful completion of each
<br /> assignment, as this contract will issue assignments on a rotation basis, between and including up to three (3)
<br /> firms for each discipline/service type. Special attention will be given to ensuring a proactive system of
<br /> coordination with City staff that will foster a sense of teamwork between the McMahon team and the City.
<br /> Specifically, McMahon will do the following:
