Having a world-class architectural and planning consultant will help you to create conditions to realize your vision. Atkins has the credentials, experience, and desire to be your visionary consultant/advisor during these exciting years as you build your city's future. Our portfolio includes specialized community center and garage design experience. Sunny Isles Beach operates like a larger city than its 22,000-resident population would suggest. Owing to its many prominent part-time residents, world-class beaches and resorts, and extensive residential and commercial waterfront property, the City can support impressive capital improvement and P3 programs. Similarly, Atkins has a wealth of local resources to support the various Sunny Isles Beach initiatives. Enclosed is our response for architectural services, and we are simultaneously responding to the landscape architecture, civil/environmental, and planning/urban design RFQs. The Atkins team has the ability to expand and/or contract as your needs dictates. This includes capability to serve as a full- service consultant, if desired, or as purely your architectural expert. ' As your project manager I bring 25 years of experience as a master planner/waterfront expert, urban designer/architect concentrated in South Florida. My specialty is synthesizing the needs of municipalities, private interests, and the general ' public in community-centric sites and projects. As a planner I look to create economic sustainability through multiple uses and flexibility, while as an architect I seek to capture the spirit of place and to fuse that into new and exciting buildings. The elements in Sunny Isles Beach are sun and water(and cars), while the architectural language, having been established with the Municipal Building, still needs guidance to shape its direction for the future. Jeff Warmington, AIA, our senior architect, also has 25 years of experience servicing public entities with precisely this type of general consulting services, including assessment reports, feasibility studies, and providing design criteria and guidelines. Jeff and I coordinate our in-house team of civil, structural, and MEP engineers, giving us the ability to rapidly solve any issue that might arise concerning buildings or construction.
