Summary Minutes:Regular City Commission Meeting December 17,2015 City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida Sitting in as the Local Planning Agency and the City Commission, to Consider the Following Ordinance Amending the Land Development Regulations (LDRs): 9B. A Resolution of the Local Planning Agency of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Recommending to the City Commission of Sunny Isles Beach,the Approval of the Ordinance Amending Section 265-37 of the Land Development Regulations to Modify Front and Side Yard Setback Requirements for Properties Located on the North Side of Sunny Isles Boulevard to Promote a Pedestrian Friendly Environment; Providing for an Effective Date. Action: [City Clerk's Note:Items 9B and 9B.1 were heard together.] City Clerk Hines read the title, and Planning and Zoning Administrator Claudia Hasbun reported. Commissioner Aelion moved and Vice Mayor Gatto seconded a motion to approve the resolution. LPA Resolution No. 2015-98 was adopted by a vote of 5-0 in favor. 9B.1 An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida,Amending Section 265-37 of the Land Development Regulations to Modify Front and Side Yard Setback Requirements for Properties Located on the North Side of Sunny Isles Boulevard to Promote a Pedestrian Friendly Environment; Providing for Severability; Providing for Inclusion in the Code; Providing for an Effective Date. (First Reading 11/19/15) Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Planning and Zoning Administrator Claudia Hasbun reported noting this was after the Workshop that we had regarding the Town Center on the north edge of Sunny Isles Boulevard. Public Speakers: None Commissioner Aelion moved and Vice Mayor Gatto seconded a motion to approve the Ordinance on second reading. Ordinance No.2015-469 was adopted by a roll call vote of 5-0 in favor. Vote: Commissioner Aelion yes Commissioner Goldman yes Commissioner Levin yes Vice Mayor Gatto yes Mayor Scholl yes Sitting in as the Local Planning Agency and the City Commission, to Consider the Following Ordinance Amending the Land Development Regulations (LDRs): 9C. A Resolution of the Local Planning Agency of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Recommending to the City Commission of Sunny Isles Beach,the Approval of the Ordinance Amending Sections 265-34,265-35,265-36 and 265-38 of the City Code to Increase the Price of Bonus Participation Units; Providing for an Effective Date. Action: [City Clerk's Note:Items 9C and 9C.1 were heard together.] City Clerk Hines read the title, and Planning and Zoning Administrator Claudia Hasbun reported.
