Conduct a site visit and inventory of existing trees and vegetation within <br /> the proposed mitigation area. <br /> B. Prepare a tree removal plan for the clearing of the mitigation site. This <br /> plan shall identify the areas of exotic plants within the site,as well as the <br /> size and location of any native trees which may be discovered during the <br /> site visit and inventory. <br /> C. Prepare a mitigation plan for the planting of Red,White and Black <br /> Mangroves within the mitigation area identified in the permit exhibits. <br /> This plan shall indicate the size,species and location of the mangrove trees <br /> to be planted as well as a planting chart. The plan shall also include the <br /> details and locations of any staff gauges,photo stations,transect markers, <br /> and mitigation signs. <br /> D. Manage the preparation of the bid documents for the project,including the <br /> bid quantities, cost estimates and bid form,as well as any necessary <br /> technical specifications. <br /> E. Manage the bidding process,including attendance at a pre-bid conference, <br /> responding to any questions from the bidders,and reviewing the bids with <br /> the CGA team to make a recommendation of award to the City staff. <br /> F. Attend a pre-construction meeting with the Contractor to review all aspects <br /> of the mitigation planting,scheduled inspections during construction,and <br /> any required monitoring reports. <br /> G. Assist the Contractor with any questions on the mitigation planting design <br /> and plans during the course of the work on the project. <br /> H. Review and approval of any necessary shop drawings or submittals during <br /> the course of the construction for the project. <br /> I. Conduct site inspections during the course of the work on this project. <br /> This shall include up to four(4)inspections during the construction, as <br /> well as one(1) inspection at the time of substantial completion and one(1) <br /> final inspection for the project, <br /> J. Prepare any monitoring reports that may be necessary to submit to the <br /> permitting agencies during the construction of this project. This shall be <br /> limited to four(4)reports total. <br /> SIB <br />
