ORDINANCE NO. 2016- `t 1 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br /> OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2015-461; AMENDING THE CITY'S <br /> BUDGET NO. BA1516-03 FOR THE 2015-2016 FISCAL YEAR - <br /> CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND, GENERAL FUND, STREET <br /> MAINTENANCE & CONSTRUCTION FUND, BUILDING <br /> FUND, AND STORMWATER OPERATIONS FUND; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS <br /> NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE TERMS AND <br /> CONDITIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Sections 200.065 and 166.241, Florida Statutes and the <br /> City Charter, the City Commission adopted the Budget for Fiscal Year 2015-2016 (the "Budget") <br /> by Ordinance No. 2015-461; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Finance Director has determined a need to amend the Budget for <br /> Fiscal Year 2015-2016 to reallocate Capital Project allocations between projects as needed for <br /> the current Fiscal Year 2015-2016, and to record the non-cash acquisition of land for audit <br /> purposes, and for purposes of transferring budgeted cost of living adjustments to department <br /> budgets; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that it is necessary to amend the <br /> Budget, as set forth in Exhibit "A", based upon the review and analysis provided by the Finance <br /> Director. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals. The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby <br /> ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part by this <br /> Ordinance upon adoption hereof. <br /> Section 2: Budget Amendment. The Budget for Fiscal Year 2015-2016 adopted by <br /> Ordinance No. 2015-461 is amended as Amendment No. BA1516-03 to reflect the revisions in <br /> Exhibit "A". All other terms and conditions of Ordinance No. 2015-461 not otherwise amended <br /> by this Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> Section 3: Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to take <br /> all actions necessary to implement the terms and conditions of this Ordinance. <br /> Section 4: Effective Date.
