Hines, MMC, City Clerk <br /> DATE: 7/21/2016 <br /> Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Approve <br /> RE: " Required Contracts,Agreements, and Purchase Orders <br /> During the Summer Recess <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached <br /> Resolution. <br /> REASONS: <br /> The City Commission is not scheduled to meet between July 21, 2016 <br /> and the next regular meeting of September 15, 2016, and there may be <br /> new or existing contracts that require approval during that time period. <br /> This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to sign or renew all <br /> required contracts, agreements, and purchase orders that affect the <br /> health, safety, or welfare of the City during the summer recess period, <br /> and it requires legal review by the City Attorney for said contracts and <br /> agreements. <br /> The City Manager will report back to the City Commission at the first <br /> regular City Commission meeting of September 15, 2016, seeking <br /> after-the-fact ratification. <br /> ATTACHMENTS: <br /> Description <br /> Resolution <br /> 59 <br />
