<br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-Z-4 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING TWO NON-USE <br />VARIANCES OF COLLINS RESTAURANT GROUP, INC., d/b/a <br />BLACK ANGUS STEAKHOUSE; PROVIDING FOR APPEAL. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Collins Restaurant Group, Inc., d/bla Black Angus Steakhouse has applied for <br />the following: <br />(1) Non-use variance of zoning regulations limiting the sale of alcoholic beverages for <br />consumption in restaurants and bars weekdays between the hours of8:00 a.m. and <br />1 :00 a.m. on the following day~ to vary same to permit restaurant and bar with sales <br />of alcoholic beverages between the hours 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the following <br />days. <br /> <br />(2) Non-use variance of zoning regulations limiting the sale of alcoholic beverages <br />for consumption in restaurants, Sundays between the hours ofl :00 p.m. and 1 :00 a.m. <br />on the following day in bars between 5 :00 p.m. and 1 :00 a.m. the following day to <br />vary same to permit the restaurant and bar with sales of alcoholic beverages between <br />1 :00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the following day. <br /> <br />SUBJECT PROPERTY: Parcel 1, the north 150', as measured along the east line <br />thereof of parcel 1 , of the REPLA T OF TRACT "N' OF SUNNY ISLES SHORES <br />SECTION "A", Plat book 64, Page 74~ <br /> <br />AND: <br /> <br />Parcel 2, REPLAT OF TRACT "A", SUNNY ISLES SHORES SECTION "N', Plat <br />book 64, Page 74. <br /> <br />Location: 18290 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Miami-Dade County. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at a public hearing of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, <br />Florida, was held and all interested parties concerned in the matter were heard~ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised by Dade County that the subject <br />application has been reviewed for compliance of procedural requirements for non-use variances of <br />the Dade County Code as adopted by the City of Sunny Isles Beach~ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board finds the following exists: <br /> <br />(1) that the non-use variances granted maintain the basic intent and purpose of <br />the zoning regulations as it affects the community are otherwise compatible <br />with the surrounding land uses and will not be detrimental to the community~ <br />
