<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-Z-16 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR 17070 <br />COLLINS AVENUE SHOPPING CENTER, LTD., FOR <br />APPROVAL OF MODIFICATION OF PLAN AND NON-USE <br />VARIANCES FOR PARKING, ADDITIONAL SIGN AND <br />HEIGHT OFFENCE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 17070 Collins Avenue Shopping Center, Ltd., has applied for the following: <br /> <br />Modification of Condition #2 of Resolution 5-ZAB-200-94 as further modified by Resolution 5- <br />ZAB-354-95 passed and adopted by the Zoning Appeals Board on the 6th of September, 1995, <br />reading as follows and only as it applies to the site plan. : <br /> <br />From: <br /> <br />To: <br /> <br />That in the approval of the plan, the same be substantially in <br />accordance with that submitted for the hearing entitled ' Proposed <br />Tenant Improvements at RK. Commercial Center' as prepared by <br />Roger Piper Architecture, consisting of 4 sheets, dated 12-15-94, a <br />'Sketch of As-Built Survey' as prepared by Zurvelle Whittaker, Inc. <br />dated stamped received April 6, 1995, a 'Liquor Survey' as prepart:(d <br />by Fortin, Leavy, Skiles Inc. consisting of 5 sheets: 'Store No. <br />T17032. T17082, T250A, Till (T266 & T267), plans dated 2-8-95: <br />Chistine Lee's Restaurant at RK. Commercial Center' as prepared by <br />Roger Piper Architecture dated 5-8-95., except as herein modified to <br />exclude the parking variance and to comply with the previously <br />approved plans as it pertain to the parking. <br /> <br />That in the approval of the plan the same be substantially in <br />accordance with that submitted for the hearing entitled "RK. Centre <br />at A ventura Beach" prepared by Kobi Karp Associates dated stamped <br />received 4-7-98 and plans entitled "detached Sign" prepared by <br />unknown dated stamped received 4-7-98. <br /> <br />The purpose ofthis request is to allow the applicant to revise the site plan to show dedicated parking <br />for the City of Sunny Isles Beach Police Department and to show an additional sign for the shopping <br />center and reduce the amount of parking spaces. <br /> <br />1. Modification of Plans approved pursuant to resolution 4-ZAB-2-91, passed and adopted by <br />the Zoning Appeals Board on the 16th of January, 1991, reading as follows: <br /> <br />From: <br /> <br />Plans entitled "General Site Plan for RK.
