<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-Z-19 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR COLLINS & 194TH ASSOCIATES, LTD., <br />APPROVING REQUEST FOR NON-USE VARIANCE OF PARKING <br />REQUIREMENTS TO PERMIT 409 PARKING SPACES (449 REQUIRED); <br />TO PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Collins & 194th Associates, Ltd., has applied for the following: <br /> <br />1. Non-Use Variance of Parking requirements to permit 409 parking spaces (449 parking <br />spaces required). <br /> <br />SUBJECT PROPERTY: <br /> <br />A parcel of land lying in Section 2, Township 52 South, Range 42 East, Dade County, Florida, being <br />more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />Begin at the southwest corner of SHERATON BEACH HOTEL TRACT according to the Plat <br />thereof as recorded in Plat book 128, at Page 73 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida said <br />point being on a circular curve to the right, concave Easterly whose radius bears S 84027'03" E. <br />from said point, and said curve having for it's elements a radius of2314.12 feet and a central angle of <br />11 044 '19"; thence N ortherl y, along the arc of said curve, being the Easterly right -of-way line of State <br />Road A-I-A, also known as Collins A venue, 474.11 feet to a point of reverse curvature of a curve to <br />the left, concave Westerly and having for it's elements a radius of 1432.69 feet and a central angle of <br />09041'37"; thence, N ortherl y, along the arc of said curve, 242.39 feet to the Northwest corner ofthe <br />aforementioned Plat of SHERATON BEACH HOTEL TRACT; thence, departing from the Easterly <br />Right-of-Way line of said State Road A-I-A, S 88013'01" E. along the Northerly line of said Plat of <br />SHERATON BEACH HOTEL TRACT, 330.80 feet to the Northeast corner of said Plat of <br />SHERATON BEACH HOTEL TRACT; thence continue S 88013'01" E. for 7.31 feet to the <br />intersection with the Erosion Control Line as recorded in Plat Book 134, at Page 47, of the Public <br />Records of Dade County, Florida; S 04019'27" W. along said Erosion Control Line 359.09 feet; <br />thence S 04010'59" W. for 346.61 feet to the intersection of the Southerly line of the Plat of <br />SHERATON BEACH HOTEL TRACT; thence, departing from said Erosion Control Line, and <br />along said Southerly line of SHERATON BEACH HOTEL TRACT,N 88009'00" W. for431.66 feet <br />to the POINT OF BEGINNING. <br /> <br />ADDRESS: 19405 and 19455 Collins Avenue <br />and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the public hearing of the City Commission was advertised and held as required <br />by law and all interested parties concerned in the matter were heard, and upon due and proper <br />consideration having been given to the matter and to the recommendations of both the Zoning and <br />Code Administrator and the Building Official with respect to all requests; <br /> <br />Resolution 98-Z-19 <br /> <br />-1- <br />
