<br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-Z-72 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE <br />ZONING APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY SLAVCO <br />ZEHTINSKI AND RUMIANA GROZDANOV A (Z2002-06), <br />SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />I. RECITALS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 27, 2002, Slavco Zehtinski and Rumiana Grozdanova submitted <br />an application to the City of Sunny Isles Beac~ Florida requesting the following: <br /> <br />1. Non-Use Variance of Setback Requirements to permit an existing terrace addition to a <br />single-family residence to setback 1.5 feet from the interior (west) property line (7.5 feet <br />required). <br /> <br />2. Non-Use Variance of Setback Requirements to permit an existing utility shed to <br />setback 1.1 feet from the interior (west) property line (7.5 feet required) and to setback <br />0.8 feet from the rear (south) property line (5 feet required). <br /> <br />3. Non-Use Variance of Spacing Requirements to permit an existing utility shed spaced 5 <br />feet from the principal building (10 feet required). <br /> <br />Legal: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Blk.13 of Golden Shores Ocean Boulevard Estates Sec "D", PB 53 <br />PG48. <br /> <br />Location <br /> <br />220-186th Street, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing of the City Commission was advertised and held as <br />required by law and all interested parties concerned in the matter were heard, and upon due and <br />property consideration having been given to the matter and to the positive recommendation of <br />the Zoning Director; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed the application, and finds substantial <br />competent evidence to support a showing by the applicant that the non-use variances maintain <br />the basic intent and purpose of the zoning, subdivision or other land use regulations, which is to <br />the community and that the non-use variances will be otherwise compatible with the surrounding <br />land uses and would not be detrimental to the community. <br /> <br />R02-Z- Slavco Zehtinski and Rumiana Grozdanova ed 12113/02 <br /> <br />1 <br />
