Legislature created s. <br />374.976, Florida Statutes. This law authorizes and empowers each inland <br />navigation district to undertake programs intended to alleviate the problems <br />associated with its waterways. The purpose of this rule is to set forth the District's <br />policy and procedures for the implementation of an assistance program under s. <br />374.976, F.S., for local governments, member counties and navigation related <br />districts within the District. This program will be known hereafter as the Florida <br />Inland Navigation District's Waterways Assistance Program. <br /> <br />1 <br />
