(24) "W ATERW A YS" means the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, all navigable rivers, bays, creeks or lagoons intersected by said waterway and all navigable natural creeks, rivers, bays or lagoons entering or extending from said waterway. (25) "WATERWAY RELATED ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION" means an interdisciplinary holistic process by which the learner: develops an awareness of the natural and manmade environments of waterways; develops knowledge about how the environment of the waterways works; acquires knowledge about the technological, social, cultural, political, and economic relationships occurring in waterway related environmental issues; and, becomes motivated to apply action strategies to maintain balance between quality of life and quality of the environment of waterways.
