<br />~SOLUTION NO. 99-~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF VACANT <br />PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS TRACT A OF THE PERU <br />TOWERS SUBDIVISION, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK <br />99, PAGE 66, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE <br />COUNTY, LOCATED BETWEEN NORTH BAY ROAD AND <br />181sT AND 182ND STREET, UNDER THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS PROVIDED IN THE CONTRACT OF <br />PURCHASE AND SALE ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT <br />"A"; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SUCH <br />CONTRACT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Commission have expressed a desire to create an additional park <br /> <br />on North Bay Road, among other things, as an active playground; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor has now negotiated and agreed upon the best price for the property, <br /> <br />subject to Commission approval; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approval of Contract. The proposed Contract for Sale and Purchase by and between <br /> <br />ISMA T Corp., a Florida corporation and the City of Sunny Isles Beach for the purchase of vacant <br /> <br />property described as Tract A ofthe Peru Towers Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 99, page 66, <br /> <br />of the Public Records of Dade County, located between North Bay Road and 181 st and 182nd Street, <br /> <br />as more fully set forth as Exhibit "A" hereto, be, and the same is, hereby approved by the City <br /> <br />Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Execution of Agreement. The Mayor is hereby directed to executed said contract and <br /> <br />the City Attorney is hereby directed to prepare and approve any further documentation to effectuate <br /> <br />the sale on behalf of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />Purchase from Ismat CO'll' <br /> <br />-1- <br />
