RESOLUTION NO.99-1�n <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AWARDING <br />BEACH FRONT PARK BID AWARD TO COAST TO COAST <br />CONSTRUCTION AND RESTORATION, INC., IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $609,885.00 SUBJECT, HOWEVER, TO THE <br />PROCUREMENT OF A PERMIT FROM THE DEPARTMENT <br />OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION; PROVIDING FOR <br />SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, on or about May 28, 1999, an invitation to bid was published for the landscape, <br />irrigation & restroom facilities of the oceanfront park in Sunny Isles Beach; and <br />WHEREAS, on or about June 24, 1999, the bids were submitted and opened in accordance <br />with Ordinance No. 97-10; and <br />WHEREAS, after substantial review and analysis the City Manager has determined the <br />lowest responsible and responsive bidder was Coast to Coast Construction and Restoration, Inc.: <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Bid Award. The award of Request for Bid No. 99-05-02 published on May 28, 1999, be and <br />the same is hereby awarded to Coast to Coast Construction and Restoration, Inc., in <br />accordance with its bid proposal dated June 24, 1999, received by the City on even date, in <br />the total amount of $609,885.00, provided however, the award of this bid is subject to the <br />procurement, by the City of Sunny Isles Beach, of a permit from the Florida Department of <br />Environmental Protection. In the event that permit is not secured this bid shall not be <br />deemed to have been awarded. <br />2. Effective Date.
