<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000- \<6(0 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING AN IRS <br />SECTION 125 CAFETERIA PLAN AS SET FORTH IN EXHIBIT <br />"A"; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO TAKE ANY <br />AND ALL ACTION AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE <br />THE RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to allow its employees to participate in supplemental health <br />and dependent care flexible spending account benefits as set forth in the attached City of Sunny <br />Isles Beach Florida Cafeteria Plan (the "Plan"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to adopt a flexible benefits plan that complies with Section <br />125 of the Internal Revenue Code to enable its employees to choose between qualified benefits <br />under the Plan on a payroll reduction basis; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Plan will not cost the taxpayers of the City of Sunny Isles Beach any <br />additional City taxes; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City hereby adopts the City of Sunny Isles Beach flexible benefits plan in accordance <br />with Exhibit "A" as may be amended and restated, effective as of January 1, 2000. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Florida is authorized and directed to <br />take any and all action as may be necessary to effectuate this Resolution. <br /> <br />3.
