FUNDING REQUEST CAPS

The TDC encourages applicant organizations to diversify financial support by securing other public and private funding
assistance in addition to the Tourist Development Council Grants Program. To this end. the TDC employs a policy of
recommending funds for events in a declining formula implemented over a multi-year period. In supporting tourist-oriented
activities. the TDC observes the following reduction formula when recomm~nding funding for a specific event:

YEAR NONPROFIT FOR-PROFIT
I Initial Grant Recommendation Initial Grant Recommendation
2 No more than 90% of initial frant award No more than 66% of initial B'2M award
3 No more than 80% of initial Bant award No more than 33% of initial ..-ant award
4 No more than 70% of initial Bant award $0 recommended
5 No more than 60% of initial Bant award $0 recommended
6 Project is considered for a new cycle of funding based, in $0 recommended
part, upon its demonstrated track record and the degree
to which the project has increased its tourism and
community imoact

It is also TDC policy to consider asa new project, any event which moves more than ten (10) miles from its original site.

The maximum amount of TDC funds that may be requested is $25,000.

MATCHING FUNDS

All applicants must meet the program's $1 :$1 grant match.
