<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 'Z() C, <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY, AN AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY <br />AFFAIRS FOR DISASTER FUNDING ATTACHED HERETO <br />AS EXHIBIT "A"; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, federal and state funds are available to the City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />("City) for the damage caused by natural disasters; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City seeks reimbursement of funds from the Department of Community <br />Affairs for approved natural disasters; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Disaster Relief Funding Agreement is necessary in order to request <br />reimbursement of funds for the damages sustained during natural disasters. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Authorization of City Manager.
