<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-1':\ k> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br />FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES <br />BEACH AD VALOREM TAX MILLAGE LEVY RATE AT <br />2.500 MILLS PER ONE THOUSAND ($1000) DOLLARS OF <br />TAXABLE ASSESSED VALUE WHICH IS 14.521 PERCENT <br />GREATER THAN THE "ROLLED BACK" RATE OF 2.183 <br />MILLS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2000/2001; PROVIDING FORAN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser of Miami-Dade County, Florida, served upon the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach a "Certification of2000 Taxable Value"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 200.065, F.S., the City of Sunny Isles Beach has furnished <br />to the County Property Appraiser, the proposed millage rate, and the date, time and place at which <br />public hearings will be held to consider the proposed millage rate and tentative budget; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 7,2000, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2000-266, <br />establishing the tentative ad valorem tax millage levy rate at 2.500 mills per one thousand dollars of <br />taxable assessed value; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The millage rate is hereby established as 2.500 per One Thousand ($1000) Dollars of <br />assessed value of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. The millage reflected is 14.521 % greater than the <br />"rolled back" rate of 2.183 mills. <br /> <br />Section 2.
